Two poems to add to the collection of emotional crap.

"Foolish Self Pity"

Slowly leaning my head back
Taking a deep breath
I let the sound linger
Then exhale all that's left

I'm only strong for awhile
Until it settles in
Then my head drops down
I'm defeated once again

I'm trapped in my sorrow
And drowned in my shame
It's clearly pathetic
To have this kind of pain

Love only makes us weaker
We're bound to be betrayed
There's no use trying anyway
Its damage will be made

But even with this knowledge
And the scars of my past
I can't help but keep searching
For a love that'll never last...

Okay.... that was written last night.. and I wrote this one tonight.

"The Easy Way"

Kiss me with passion
But turn away quick
Before I see your eyes

Hug me with adoration
But don’t look at my face
Just abandon me as well

I think that maybe now
With no attachment at all
It just wont ache as bad

So when you walk out
With your pitiful goodbyes
I’ll just look away

And forget....
